How does my party work?

Good question! This page tells you everything you need to know about the Play2Day Party you’ve chosen, from arriving to departing.

To make sure you are totally aware of all the details, we would appreciate it if you took a few minutes to read these procedures to assist you with the organising and smooth running of your party when you arrive at the centre. Please select the link below to the party type you have booked

Adventure Play Parties

Don’t forget the birthday cake and candles. Sparkling candles are not allowed.

Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at the Adventure Play Centre Reception. They will take your cake and candles to the Party Room. The receptionist will take the food order of the birthday child plus any other guests.

You will have a Reserved table, four chairs (for adults to use, the children will eat in the Party Room) along with your free gift (a helium filled foil balloon), shoe bucket, two jugs of squash and cups.

Approximately 20-25 minutes after the start of your Party, we will ask you to check the names of all your guests on the Party Food Order Sheet and pay the outstanding balance due. Upon payment, you will receive a FREEPLAY voucher which will give your child a free entry to the Adventure Play Centre or a game of Lazer-Tag or a game of Ten Pin Bowling.

You are welcome to pay by cash or card at Reception and please note that the Snack Bar does not accept debit/credit cards. If you need some cash simply go to Reception where you can get charge-free cashback.

Party Procedures

Just before your Party is due to eat we will make an announcement over the loudspeaker system asking your Party children to make their way to the Party Room. This is approximately one hour after the start of the Party.

The Party Host will serve the children with their chosen meals and squash. They will then clear away the dirty plates, light the candles and the guests will sing Happy Birthday as the host presents the cake to the birthday child.
The host will then serve the ice-cream and finally, they will cut and wrap the cake in serviettes and place it in party bags and give them to the party parent.

The Party children will then return to the Adventure Play facilities until your Party concludes.

The Party children will then return to the Adventure Play facilities.

When your Party children leave the Party room they will enjoy approximately 20 minutes of Adventure Play. They will then be called back to the reserved table to put on their shoes. They will then be escorted to the Lazer-Tag Arena and play two games.

TEN PIN BOWLING PARTIES

Arrival Procedures

Please ensure that you invite your guest to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking time. Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at the Ten Pin Bowling and Lazer-Tag Reception. They will take your cake and candles and place them behind the bar. They will then take the food and drink order of the party children and provide the children with Ten Pin Bowling shoes.

It is important that you remind your guests to arrive on time. We will ask you to check the names of all your guests on the Party Food Order Sheet and pay the balance due before your party booking time Upon payment we’ll give you a FREEPLAY voucher which will give your child a free entry to the Adventure Play Centre or a game of Lazer-Tag or a game of Ten Pin Bowling.

TEN PIN BOWLING & LAZER-TAG PARTY

They will then take the drink order of the party children and provide the children with Ten Pin Bowling shoes. The children then make their choice of meal. It is important that you remind your guests to arrive on time.

You are welcome to pay by cash or card at the Ten Pin Bowling Reception.

The host will escort the children to the Ten Pin Bowling lanes and host them during their game.

Upon completion of their game, the children will sit at their reserved table and the Party Host will serve their choice of hot food and drink.

The host will then clear away the dirty plates, light the candles and the children will sing Happy Birthday as the host presents the cake to the birthday child. The host will then cut the cake, wrap it in serviettes, place it in party bags and give them to the party Organiser.

The host will then take the children to the Lazer-Tag Arena for their 2 games of Lazer-Tag.

Teenage Pizza Parties Bowl & Lazertag

1 game of Ten Pin Bowling and 2 games of Lazer-Tag (approximately 2 hours)

Arrival and Procedures

Please ensure that you invite your guest to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking time.

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at the Ten Pin Bowling and Lazer-Tag Reception.

They will take children’s drink order as they arrive and then the children will make their choice of pizza.

The staff will give the children a pair of Ten Pin Bowling shoes.

It is important that you remind your guests to arrive on time as the Bowling Lanes and Lazer-Tag Arena has been reserved for your Party.

We will ask you to check the names of all your guests on the Party Food Order Sheet and pay the balance due before your party booking time. Upon payment, we’ll give you a FREEPLAY voucher which will give your child a free game of Lazer-Tag or a game of Ten Pin Bowling.

You are welcome to pay by cash or card at the Lazer-Tag and Ten Pin Bowling Reception.

A member of staff will escort them to the Ten Pin Bowling lanes and set up their game. Upon completion of their game of ten pin bowling, the children will return their Ten Pin Bowling shoes, sit at their reserved table and they will be served their choice of pizza and drink.

When the children have finished their meal they will be escorted to the Lazer-Tag Arena to play their two games of Lazer-Tag. (please remember this party does not include Party Bags)

Teenage Pizza Parties 4 game Lazer Tag

Arrival and Procedures

They will take children’s drink order as they arrive and then the children will make their choice of pizza.

It is important that you remind your guests to arrive on time as the Lazer-Tag Arena have been reserved for your Party.

You are welcome to pay by cash or card at the Ten Pin Bowling and Lazer-Tag Reception.

A member of staff will escort your party to the Lazer-Tag Arena to play their first two games. Upon completion of their second game, the children will sit at their reserved table and our staff will serve their choice of pizza and drink.

When the children have finished their meal they will be escorted to the Lazer-Tag Arena for their third and fourth games of Lazer-Tag.

PRE-SCHOOL PARTIES

Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at Adventure Play Centre Reception. They will take your cake and candles to the Party Room. The receptionist will take the food order of the birthday child plus any other guests.

TEDDYTASTIC PARTIES

Don’t forget the birthday cake and candles. Sparkling candles are not allowed.

Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at the Adventure Play Centre Reception. They will take the lunchbox order of the birthday child plus any other children you bring.

You will have a Reserved table, a shoe bucket and four chairs (for adults to use, the children will eat in the Picnic Area). They will also take your cake and candles to the Picnic Area.

Approximately 20-25 minutes after the start of your Party, we will ask you to check the names of all your guests on the Party Food Order Sheet and pay the outstanding balance due.

Party Procedures

The children will enjoy 30 minutes in the Adventure Play Centre. They will then be called to the Picnic Area where they will choose and build their bears, complete with a heart and a birth certificate.

The Party Host will then light the candles, the children will sing Happy Birthday as the host presents the cake to the birthday child before presenting each child with their lunchbox.

They will then cut the cake, wrap it in serviettes and present it before clearing away the lunchboxes. (please remember this party does not include Party Bags). The birthday child then chooses their free teddy bear outfit.

The Party children will then return to the Adventure Play facilities until your Party concludes.

EXCLUSIVE HIRE PARTY

Arrival

Upon your arrival, you will be greeted by a member of staff at the Adventure Play Centre Reception. They will take your cake and candles to the kitchen.

You will have a Reserved table, shoe bucket, two jugs of squash and cups.

Approximately half way through your party we’ll make a loudspeaker announcement asking the children to make their way to the Snack Bar where a member of staff will present the cake and the children will sing Happy Birthday.

If you would like the cake cutting and wrapping in a serviette the member of staff will be happy to do this for you.
