Over 40 ladies enjoyed LADIES NIGHT(6) at BOWL2DAY last night (8th June 2011).
They started the evening with a little shopping and at 7.30 hit the lanes to play their games of 10 pin bowling. Congratulations to Samantha the highest scoring lady with 115 points.
Each ladies night has a theme and this time it was summer (been summer for months hasn’t it?) with bright red and contrasting white decorated tables. And the theme continued with the barbeque meal with chicken plus traditional handmade sausages and burgers from Tan Rose at Parson Drove. Washed down with rose wine of course.
The raffle followed with prizes generously donated by our stall holders. The raffle raised £95 and Susan from the Cancer Breast Care Charity thanked everyone their support again. I think the LADIES NIGHTs raffles have raised around £600 now – well done ladies.

Also, must mention the jolly ladies from the West Walton area called the Fenland Belles who formed their club a few months ago in March. They comprise Vanessa, Pat, Alice, Hilary, Magaret, Kate and Gill. A lively bunch who we hope to see next time.
