One of the benefits of supporting the local community through events such as the Easter Challenge is developing relationships which builds trust, exchanging ideas, etcetera. Maple Grove School have been with us for 5 years, always keen to take part and must be a great school for teachers because they’ve been coming for 5 years too – or does Mrs Quince pay them lots? :-)
To the bowling and many of the highest scores we’ve seen so far, including the highest which beat Angel of Burrowmoor School’s 147 (sorry Angel, maybe next year).
Group 2 winner was Maxi with 138 points but the winner by a country mile (and a broken arm!) was Sarah Jane with 164 points – that’s massive!
We’ve still two schools to go, Murrow tomorrow and Westwood Junior School next week, and I hope they get some good scores but feel maybe the School Trophy could be heading to Maple Grove School this year.
