World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Play2Day (Wisbech)

Our Ten Pin Bowling Centre was the venue for our Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September.

The effort and support of so many ensured this event was both enjoyable and successful.  This included the local businesses who generously donated a wide range of items, our staff who had already raised £500 on their 5 mile sponsored walk, our stall holders whose products create so much interest and of course the local community who enjoyed good coffee, delicious cake and good company.

In addition, it was an honour and a privaledge to welcome The Mayor, Councillor Jonathan Farmer and The Mayoress, Mrs Farmer, especially as there were so many Coffee Mornings planned for the same time.  They also showed a keen interest in our business and enjoyed a tour of all three of our enterprises:  Indoor Children’s Play, Ten pin Bowling and our Lazer Tag Arena.

Here’s a list of the businesses who donated so generously: Starbucks Coffee, Robert Goddard Clothing, Simply Interiors, Marylyn Hyde, South Lincs Food Service, King Bros Food Service, Booker Cash & Carry, Elgoods Brewery, Scanomat Coffee, Halisk Assoc, Fenland Hygiene Industrial Supplies, Jane Coates, (I’ll add the others later)

The stall holders included:  Debbie’s Cakes, Cakes by Fiona, Something Silver Jewellery, Marylyn Hyde’s Paintings, Pheonix Cards, Folbar Beads, Usbourne Books, Mel’s Beads, Widgets & Whiffs, and last (unless I’ve forgotten someone) but of course not least, Pauline Brown.
