Vintage Motorcycle Club at BOWL2DAY
The Vintage Motorcycle Club met at BOWL2DAY on Wednesday (4th of May). 20 members of the South Lincs & Peterborough Section enjoyed a 75 mile ride around The Wash and Gedney Drove End before returning to BOWL2DAY.
Their bikes included BSA, Matchless, Francis Barnett, Norton and Triumph. The VMCC is the largest motorcycle club in the world with around 16,000 members.
The Vintage Motor Cycle Club Limited was formed in 1946 by a band of 38 enthusiasts and membership today stands over 16,000 – but this has been achieved without losing any of the camaraderie or helpfulness which is usually associated with smaller clubs.
