Fenland District Council ‘Award Ceremony’ (March 2011)

Congratulations to all the local businesses who collected their award at the Fenland District Council ‘Award Ceremony’ at Fenland Hall this morning. It was well attended, prestigeous and informative.

And a  BIG ‘well done’ to all our staff who work tirelessly to maintain the high standards of food hygiene that we strive to achieve and our customers demand.  All the cleaning tasks and following procedures have been recognised and rewarded!

What are the benefits to the public?

‘The main aim of the scheme is raise the standards of food safety for consumers. The scheme gives the public the opportunity to make informed choices about where they choose to eat or buy food, taking account of food hygiene standards. They also have access to information they are legally entitled to receive in a format they understand.’
