The 2015 EASTER CHALLENGE: Burrowmoor Primary School

By March 18, 2015 No Comments

With 13 schools and around 900 (yes, 900!) teachers and children taking part it’s promising to be another great event.

Today we welcomed back Burrowmoor Primary school for their third (could be fourth) EASTER CHALLENGE.  The filled the lanes twice with lively and well children.  The teachers were great too and one scored what may be a trophy winning score – more later!

Anyway, onto the Ten Pin Bowling. Group 1 winner was Jamie with 110 points.  Group 2 winner with 107 points was Logan. But the Ten Pin Bowling score of the day and maybe the tournament was Miss Barrett with a massive score of 146!  Yesterday I said I probably should create a Teacher’s trophy and unless a teacher from any of the remaining schools scores more the Teachers Trophy will be heading to Burrowmoor Primary School!

Just three schools left to play their EASTER CHALLENGE. They are Trinity School, Murrow Primary School and St Peters Junior School. Can they beat Guyhirn School’s 138 points?

You can keep up with the EASTER CHALLENGE plus everything else that’s happening at Play2Day Family Entertainment Centre on Facebook.  We’ll see you there!

Just in case you’ve never joined in before, here’s what it’s all about…

2015 EASTER CHALLENGE

It’s all about children and teachers sharing in a great school visit together. Because Ten Pin Bowling is the game everyone can play, children can challenge their teachers and also beat them too! And there’s sometimes a little dancing too. We can dim the lights, turn up the music, turn on the ultra violet lighting so you can bowl and dance as the uv reflects from the fluorescent artwork!

Children and teachers will enjoy

  • a fun game of Ten Pin Bowling
  • a trophy for the winner
  • a trophy for the winning school
  • orange and blackcurrant squash too
